Ephemera; photograph of a lady; albumen print, 'carte de visite' card; shows a woman, standing leaning on a chaise or sofa; long sleeved dark dress, corseted waistline; necklace with brooch; gold edge; Horton collection. These cards were very popular in the 1860's, & could be traded among friends & visitors, and collected & displayed in albums - the craze was known as 'Cardomania'.
