Oil lamp for railway signalling; tinned steel body, chimney, filter holder & fount; polished brass(?) reflector; ceramic & brass burner; thick glass lens, with amber and blue filters, one filter and the reflector are missing; (the blue filter was used because the yellow light of the oil lamp would show through the blue filter, resulting in a green light being shown); markings show the lamp was used by Southern Railways; Norris collection.
