Oil lamp for a bicycle or motorcycle; Lucas 'No 344' rear lamp; tubular body with red faceted glass lens & clear glass lens on side of body; carbide burner, adaptor in base for carbide supply; the bracket with two screw holes for permanent fixing, together with the clear glass side panel (possibly for illuminating a number plate) suggests use on a motorcycle or car, rather than a bicycle; Norris collection.
