Album of 20 prints of locations in Rochester & Chatham; printed by Rock Brothers of London; they seem to be taken closely from photographs (photo-lithographs?), and the views date to the 1880's; in a card album with leatherette finish; originally sold by J H Goldwin, bookseller at 26 Rochester High Street; the views are Rochester cathedral (from the castle keep), cathedral (choir east), cathedral (the nave), Restoration House, The grammar School Rochester, Rochester castle (exterior), Strood Bridge (actually Rochester Bridge from Ladbury's cottage), castle gardens, cathedral (west door), castle (interior), the Medway from Sun Pier Chatham, Dockyard Gates Chatham, St Bartholomews Hospital Chatham, Gad's Hill House, Eastgate House Rochester, Chatham Dockyard from Upnor, Brompton Barracks Memorial Arch, Marine Barracks Chatham, Cobham Hall, Kit's Coty House.
