Carriage lamp; candle lamp for a carriage, cart or horse-drawn van; rectangular tinplate body, round louvred chimney & hinged drop-down door to the rear; japanned black; rectangular colourless glass front lens & right-hand side lenses with bevelled edges; ruby lens in rear door; spring-loaded candle holder; the spring has cloth covering; polished plated copper reflectors; heavy duty spring-loaded pantograph mounting bracket on the left side; brass ring on the top of the chimney (for carrying, or hanging when not in use?); Norris collection.
