Engraved print of Kit's Coty House, a prehistoric megalithic monument on Bluebell Hill; underneath is a printed extract from Speed's 'History of Great Britain' (published 1611) that associates this prehistoric structure with the invasion of the Saxons, and individuals such as Vortigern, Hengist & Horsa. This print was produced by J V Hall of Maidstone, the publishers of the 'Maidstone Journal' newspaper.
