Breastplate (cuirass), incomplete; pronounced central vertical ridge; rivets for shoulder hinges or straps; bottom edge flared out and riveted for tassets or other further protection; painted black overall with central red St George's cross; no backplate. Acquired via exchange from Dr R J Rabett some time in the 1980's or 1990's (for what?).
