Grey ware bottle or jar fragment; grey fabric; wheel thrown; globular body sherd with trace of beaded collar around vessel neck; this item is part of a small group of objects that are annotated as being 'Scrapped 1951' in the typed Payne inventory, but were apparently not disposed of after all; there is also a pot (that doesn't fit with this sherd) with the same Payne inventory number, 635.
