Description
Coloured print of an Anglo-Saxon brooch from the cemetery at Sarre, Kent; round gold brooch with garnet cloisonne inlay. Published in Archaeologia Cantiana III (1860). This print has been mounted on card & previously framed; it is part of a group that were displayed at Eastgate House Museum by George Payne, some time between 1903-1920. Some light foxing & discolouration.
