Description
One of a collection of 69 engraved prints: samples of penmanship, probably a page ('37' in top right corner) from the book 'The Beauties of Writing' by Thomas Tomkins published in 1777; creased and damaged at edges, and discoloured where sticky tape has been applied. Found as a group of material in an envelope sent to the museum in the 1950s or 1960s.
