Civic collection; silver christening bowl; hallmarked Sheffield sterling silver, 1896, 'R&B', maker's mark of an antique oil lamp; rounded bowl, short stem, domed circular foot; 2 handles with leaf decoration; engraved Rochester arms; originally given to commemorate the christening of M Wyndham, son of L Alexander, Mayor of Rochester 1898-99.
