Brass (copper alloy) seal matrix of the City of Rochester Oyster and Floating Fishery (Admiralty Court); double-ended; dumbell-shaped seal; larger end has a 3-masted ship & 'SIGILL ADMIRAL CIVITAT ROFFEN 1606'; other end has a fish & 'S C ROFFEN 1606'. An electrotype copy of this seal was made by Peter Shorer (mid 1970's?) for use by the Admiralty Court in place of the original.
