Sheraton style chair; mahogany chairs with arms; carved splat with small inlaid oval panel with 'scorched' decoration; carved wheatsheaf decoration; upholstered with maroon velvet, floral pattern, very faded & worn (prob late 19th century in date). One of a pair. Left arm shows old damage & repair with metal plate. This chair was badly damaged on 17/5/2004 when it fell from racking - the back frame & uprights have become detached.
