Description
Small shoe or boot, child's; brown leather; leather upper reaching below ankle, flat sole; 3 surviving pairs of holes for laces (probably more originally - a section is missing); stiched throughout, no nails; quite worn; quite pointed toe; textile lining. Found behind a lath & plaster wall in 'Copperfields' shop (next to George Vaults), Rochester High Street during repair work. 'restored' by Guildhall Museum staff in the 1980's.
