Carved wooden figurine of a Chinese god (of good fortune?); dark hardwood; seated male figure, bald, long earlobes; wears an open robe; robe & chest decorated with hammered in fine silver wire in Chinese patterns including a Chinese character on stomach. Mahogany/ teak?; Edwin Harris's inventory notes that donor details were lost for this (& A4149), so acquired some time pre-1928.
