Flintlock pistol; ramrod and flint missing; octagonal barrel; the barrel is apparently made from re-used horseshoe nails, a mark of quality known as 'Stubb's Twist'; platinum touch-hole and a roller bearing on the frizzen spring; the barrel underside has the proofmarks of the London Gunmaker's Company.
