French Chassepot M1866 bayonet with brass hilt & metal scabbard. Fair condition. Blade is a yataghan type, length is 572mm. Minor dents to scabbard, some surface rust on blade. Donated by a Council employee who found it as part of a house clearance, and was concerned about it being properly housed.
