Pencil drawing of Rochester Castle & Ladbury's Quay & Cottage; by J Flower; the usual delapidated waterfront view with beached fishing boats; the reverse has a few tentative pencil lines of a different sketch. Some light creasing & staining on image. John Flower was a Leicestershire artist whose landscapes were characterised by detailed attention to architecture, foliage & rocky scenery. The first image has been lightly 'cleaned' digitally to remove some minor blemishes.
