Amateur watercolour painting of Pump Lane, Rochester, from the site of Northgate looking south towards Chertsey's Gate; probably late 19th century; unframed. Labels from original frame: 1. 'ARTS & CRAFTS, ROCHESTER EXHIBITION (Opposite Museum) Miss Grace Bassett, Pump Lane'; 2. 'Pump Lane Rochester. I wish this sketch to be given after my death to the Rochester Museum, Rich.P.Smyth, Feb 1921'.
