Pencil sketch; small sketch, quite 'naive'; shows a view over the Medway valley from Coach & Horses Hill, looking over Strood towards Rochester; carriage & various pedestrians in foreground; Lamb's Cottage has been identified with an arrow; unframed. The view looks early 19th century in date, though may be a later copy of an earlier engraving. Quite badly foxed in places, though a second cropped & digitally 'cleaned' image has been attached.
