Lithographic print of a pencil drawing taken from A2694; Rochester Castle and Trice's Stables, circa 1880-1896; view shows mounted figure & 2 people on foot; represents the view before 1896 when the road was widened and houses on the left were demolished. The view is an almost exact copy of an 1859 drawing by Sarah Bowles, in turn copied by Henry Hopper.
