Description
Engraved print of the River Medway at Gillingham; shows small sailing vessels being unloaded, rowing boats; up the slope you can see Gillingham old church & other buildings; light staining/ foxing. Probably taken from Tombleson's 'Views of the Thames & Medway', a part-work originally published 1833-1834. This print has had its decorative border cut away, and has been stuck on some thin card.
