Description
Engraved print of Rochester Castle & cathedral seen across the river from Strood; a popular view, much plagiarised; part of bridge visible to the left, rowing boats on the river. Mounted on card. This view is identical to one printed on a page of text for a book (see A5170 & A5171) published in 1773, except for the addition of a single rowing boat.
