Print of view of the London Victuallers Asylum, Old Kent Road, London; large building seen from the road, pedestrians & traffic in the foreground; originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London 1828-1831). Founded in 1827 as a home for retired publicans from all over England. It contained several other institutions, including Peckham Lunatic Asylum, workhouses, St Johns Naval School and the Aged Pilgrims Asylum.
