Print of the sailing ships 'Westminster' and 'Claudine' stranded ashore at Margate; the vessels have lost many of their masts & sails; shows labourers in the foreground. From W.H.Bartlett's 'The Ports, Harbours, Watering Places and Coast Scenery of Great Britain'. Published by George Virtue, London 1841. Quite badly foxed, the attached image has been digitally 'cleaned'.
