Engraved print of some of the ruins of Studfall (Lympne) castle; with sheep on the grassy slopes in front; these are the remains of the Roman Saxon Shore fort built on the slopes in front of the later medieval castle. Originally produced for the "England's Topographer" series of Kent views (London 1828-1831).
