sugar? bowl; white moulded porcelain; bulbous body, on shallow oval pedestal base; small handles at each end, flared rim, recessed for lid (missing) ; seal mark on base; overall hand-painted design in black of trailing branches with numerous seed heads. Probably Japanese, made for the European market.
