Description
Lithographic print of the funerary brasses of Sir John de Northwode & his wife (13th century) in the Abbey church of St Mary & St Sexburgha, Minster, Sheppey; shows Sir John in armour, hands crossed & dog at his feet; 2 copies. Based on a drawing originally by L Waller in 1838, and published in 1874 in Archaeologia Cantiana, Vol.9, p.148. There are 2 copies, both of which exhibit the same faint staining.
