Bank note; issued by the Dover Union Bank; redeemable there or at Barnett Hoare & Hills, Bankers, London, for Latham Rice Larkins Graham & Latham; printed for a value of nine & a half guineas. Had been backed on to 'recent' blue paper, leaving traces in corners. One major tear, with a piece missing. This is one of group of historic bank notes acquired in circa 1962 by J C Taylor, Curator.
