Description
Bank note; issued by the Faversham Bank; redeemable there or Sir James Sanderson Harrison Brenchley Bloxams & Co, Southwark or R & T Harrisons & Co, London, for W Bennett & J Tappenden; printed value of fifteen pounds; engraved image of Faversham arms. Had been backed on to 'recent' blue paper, leaving traces in corners. This is one of group of historic bank notes acquired in circa 1962 by J C Taylor, Curator.
