Bank note; issued by the Kentish Bank; redeemable there or Sir James Sanderson Harrison Brenchley Bloxam & Co, Southwark or R & T Harrisons & Co, London, for Brenchley Stacey Parker Springett & Penfold; printed value of 20 pounds; Had been backed on to 'recent' blue paper, leaving traces & damage in corners. This is one of group of historic bank notes acquired in circa 1962 by J C Taylor, Curator.
