Ceramic jug, or 'lekythos'; red designs on a black background, showing female figures & male winged mythological character (Hermes?); glossy finish, ring base; reconstructed, poorly repaired narrow neck with flaring rim (now separate). Possibly used to contain & pour oil. Presumably from a late 19th/early 20th century private collection.
