Photograph; shows Ivo Francis Walter Bligh (1859-1927), 8th Earl of Darnley; he captained the England cricket team on the first Ashes Tour of 1882/83; a gift to him from his wife, dedication on the reverse; framed & glazed. Lord Darnley was given the Ashes urn on his successful return from Australia in 1883. His wife gave it to the MCC museum at Lords after his death.
