Medway Archives and Local Studies Centre DE22 Adjutant or other officer's notebook of orders of the day for Chatham Garrison 1761-1777 Purchased by Kent County Council and transferred to Medway Area Archives Office (Rochester upon Medway City Archives) 4 April 1990 The volume contains contains dispositions of HM Forces, orders of the day and regulations for regular and militia garrison troops in Chatham on the Chatham Lines (also known as The Great Lines or Great Lines of Defence) or at Chatham Barracks (Lower Barracks), with descriptions of military exercises, disciplinary proceedings, passwords, memoranda and news of battles and campaigns in the Seven Years' War in North America and Europe, giving names of battalions present between 1761 and 1777.
