    Engraving; shows the tomb of bishop John De Sheppey (died 1360) as it was rediscovered in Rochester Cathedral in 1825; shows recumbent bishop in robes & mitre, hands praying; bystanders & workmen present. The tomb had been walled up in the 17th century; restoration work by the architect Lewis Cottingham in 1825 revealed the tomb and a sketch & painting was done shortly after by John Harris, an artist employed by the architect.
