- Scope and contentAt front of volume, note of "the several defects enjoyned by the Archdeacon (to be supplyed, remedyed and repaired) at this parochial visitation on Thursday August the 10th 1732". Marriages include entry dated 1724: "Squire Goldsmith of the parish of Shorne, widower, and Anne Masters, widow, were married August 2nd by Licence"; some entries give parish of origin of the parties, especially so after 1726 Baptisms include entry dated 1673: "William the son of Humfrey Williams and Elizabeth his wife was baptized Feb 4th borne at 2 of the Clocke in the morning of the same day"; no names of children baptised in 1701 are given. Burials include entry dated 1733: "Elizabeth Brown a spurious child was buried July the 18th", and other similar entries.
