Scope and content
Records of ships registered at Rochester by the Registrar of British Shipping. The registers deposited are those maintained under Part I (General Shipping) and Part IV (Fishing Vessels) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 and the Sea Fisheries Act 1868.
