Other entries include: the 30th November this year the Gravesend Tiltboat was run down by an English Vessel returning from Bulogne [i.e. Boulogne, France] in Blackwell reach and 22 persons drowned as near as can be computed, 1750; a young man that was blown up on board the 'Friendship', West Indiaman, 1759; Lars Oman a Sweede [i.e. Swede] a sailor, 1763; Samuel Blake a negro, 1763.
