Morse code transmitter; metal box, canvas strap & cover, contains signalling lamp; hinged wooden box, leather strap contains signalling lamp?; box rotten & badly wormed; generally in a poor condition. Confusion as whether this is 2 signalling lamp sets or 1, or part of something else! Apparently used in France on the canals involving ammunition transports.
