Pen & ink drawing of collage of Rochester scenes, showing 1. Rochester from Frindsbury; 2. College (Chertsey's) Gate; 3. The Medway & Fleet Marsh; unframed. The artist is Charles Edward Elvy (b. circa 1866), from Strood. He trained as a bootmaker like his father (1881 census), but by 1891 was recorded as an 'artist pictorial' (1891 census).
